Upholding its standing as the Christian hip hop label with the most active release schedule, Beatmart Recordings is proud to announce its latest signing, Willie Will.
Will joins the ranks of the seven diversely talented artists already signed to the premier hip hop label, which will be celebrating its 3 Year Anniversary in November this year. He will be making his Beatmart debut on Soul P.'s December 26 release, "The Premiere," and his first solo album on the label will be available in Spring 2007. As a longtime resident of the notorious Seattle, Washington suburb of Everett, Willie Will has developed a significant following in the northeast with three solo releases. The first,"The Rhythm and Wisdom System," released in 2000, received airplay on Seattle's number one Top 40 radio station KUBE 93 FM. The second, "Premeditated Words," led to Will being nominated for best rap artist at the 2003 NorthWest Music Awards. His third solo album, "America's Most Needed," was released this year. The 24-year-old MC aspires to restore hope by encouraging and empowering his listeners to change their perspectives and attitudes towards life. He uses his most powerful tool-his testimony-to the sound of authentic street beats. "Will's hustle, drive, and passion to reach others for Christ, is exactly what we're looking for in an artist," says Beatmart label owner Todd Collins. Nashville based Beatmart Recordings was founded by brothers Todd and Troy Collins. Beatmart has introduced breakout artists Japhia Life, Rob Hodge, and Pettidee.
