Rebecca dropped this note to friends to say thanks and ask for prayer support over the summer. Who among us doesn’t need prayer, in any season?

Hey my friends!

I just want to give a shout out to all my friends on MySpace and on my website, thank you so much for all your prayers and support, and thank you for so getting behind "God Help Me" and really allowing so many more people to hear the song through your recent efforts!

"God Help Me" is a song that's really close to my heart; it's all about surrender and realizing how much we all need God. I know daily I have many "God help me!" moments in my life and I think it's a good thing when we all realize we cannot do this thing called life on our own. We are all desperately in need of God. Thanks again for all your support of the song!

I'd love to also ask you for your prayers over this next month. July is my sabbatical month and I am really excited about what God is going to do in my heart. During this time I'm in prayer for a refreshing wind to blow through my soul for God to birth new ideas for this next season of ministry. My heart feels very open to these new things that I feel God is going to bring into my life.

I'd also like to request prayer for some potential upcoming opportunities. I've been approached to be a part of a couple of films and I really desire wisdom on this and I really want God to confirm if this is a direction He would like me to head in. It's something I have wanted to do since I was a young girl back in Sydney and wanted to be in the musical version of the "Sound of Music"! I'm just praying God will continue to open up doors in this area if this is of Him and I'd love for you to partner with me in prayer on this!

I pray that each of you will continue to have a blessed summer enjoying the beauty of God's creation with the sun and all the warm weather! For those of you who are on a school break I hope you'll just enjoy the freedom of freedom!

Until next time, adios!

Rebecca
