Coming May 23rd from New Direction, “Send the Praise,” live from Chicago’s St. Mark’s Cathedral, is full of soulful energy and passion.
Known for their youthful energetic choir sound, New Direction is still going strong after their 2004 Stellar win as Choir of the Year. The choir is ten years old, but this is their most diverse project, showing their wide range of styles (funky jams to heartfelt joy, to urban worship, to revamped traditional hymns). The new single, "I Came to Jesus," is already climbing the charts. The choir is 35 voices and a tight 5 piece band, and they bring the house down in this new release, which includes new versions of several of their biggest hits.
