Sister trio Virtue announces their June 20 release for Integrity Gospel, “Testimony,” with producer extraordinaire Fred Jerkins. Great combo, I smell a hit.
"Testimony," their fifth album, contains all of Virtue's signature moves: tight harmonies, emotionally charged worship ballads, and soulful grooves. Sisters Heather Martin, Ebony Holland, and Karima Kibble are Dove, GRAMMY, and Stellar Award nominees, and the addition of Jerkins can only increase their chances for another. The album contains 14 tracks, with special guests T-Bone and Martha Munizzi appearing on two. Kibble says "Testimony" is a bit of a new startegy for Virtue. "We've never used the same producer for an entire project," she explains. "So, this was a step of faith out of our comfort zones. But, the results speak for themselves. Freddie is an amazingly talented producer and we're fortunate to have had the chance to work with him. This project represents Virtue at a whole new level." Testimony will be available everywhere Christian music is sold beginning June 20.
