Indie Contest, Christian indie bands
Win free music in our Suite Supports the Indie Artist Contest! It’s easy and you’ll discover new bands and their music in the process. C’mon, free music in your mailbox?

In our Suite Salute to the indie artist, we will shine the spotlight on one of the many worthy artists who choose to avoid the labeling, hype, and frenzy of the marketplace but independently contribute valuable music that stands on its own beauty. Hopefully, we will introduce readers to the great players flying just under their radar and we'll give away some great music in the process.

So we will be giving away to the first reader to answer the following questions, a copy of an indie release recently reviewed here on Suite. C'mon, the best of the new independent music mailed right to your door, what's not to like?! Just email us (the link is up top in the welcome message) your answer to the following questions: (Hint: one name is the correct answer to all five of the questions!)

1. This artist wears numerous hats (producer, writer, keyboardist, and arranger), although I can't personally testify to how good he may or may not look in them. Put it this way: his name can be found all over many of the best records coming out of Nashville in recent years.

2. Along with two Andrews he co-produced "Behold the Lamb."

3. He is currently working on his own first release, hopefully out soon.

4. Though not an official Square Peg, he is often heard in peggish settings.

5.(This one should really tip it off) He can be heard crying out in keyboard agony at the 2:22 mark of Dave Barnes' "All That Noise" on "Chasing Mississippi."

Be the first to email us with your answer to this teaser and we will send you a copy of an indie album recently reviewed. Support the arts and enjoy beauty in the process, right?
