Phil Driscoll's New CD

Remember trumpeter-extraordinaire Phil Driscoll? His “Drops of Praise” will hit stores on May 2nd.

The new album shares the same mission as his previous releases-to share his music to different genres worldwide. His trumpet, voice, heart and soul have moved audiences around the world for more than 20 years.

Featured on the CD is the smash single "Salute"-a provocative tribute to our nation's troops written by Phil and arguably the album's most definitive song. "It came to me as I reflected on the tremendous sacrifice that has been made by many sons and daughters," says Driscoll. "As soldiers for our country, their sacrifice for the most part goes unnoticed and is all too often without recognition by the very ones who enjoy their freedom because of their sacrifice."
