"I am so excited about this new record," says Meyers. "I had to write the majority of this one on the road and in between shows, which really challenged me lyrically. There are a few songs that are controversial, dealing with real issues facing young people today. I wanted to write those songs to challenge the youth of my generation. I feel the songs on this project have matured both stylistically and lyrically. The rock songs are heavier and we have some prettier, more melodic moments as well."
Dying For A Heart includes the following ten tracks: "Collide," "Live," "The Beauty of Grace," "The Situation," "Love Is On the Run," "Only You Make Me Happy," "Together," "Shake It Off," "Stand and Scream," and "Hallelujah." On top of all this , she managed to graduate high school, perform with the Winter Jam, present at the GMA Awards, and oh yeah, travel to Japan.
