The album, which features new songs as well as new renditions of old classics, was created in celebration of Crouch's life-long ministry which started out with a 10-year-old Andrae playing piano in his father's church. Though he was self-taught, Crouch went on to record 30 albums in his career, tour around the globe, win 9 Grammys, work on The Lion King film score and collaborate with music greats like Elvis Presley, Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson.
The list of collaborations continues on with Fred Hammond, Crystal Lewis and Pastor Marvin Winans who, along with many others, join Crouch on his commemorative compilation. Two years in the making, "Mighty Wind" is full of classic-in-the-making.
