Former 4Him lead singer Andy Chrisman will host a new 6-hour weekly Sunday morning Praise & Worship on Tulsa's new Christian station, The New Spirit 102.3 (KKCM-FM).

The Sunday Morning Worship will air from 6:00am to Noon every Sunday, beginning this Sunday (10/01/06). The show will feature the most popular modern Worship music, from artists like Chris Tomlin, Bebo Norman, Paul Baloche, and Phillips, Craig & Dean.

Andy Chrisman was lead vocalist on over a dozen #1 Contemporary Christian singles while with 4Him, and his solo career is in full swing with his solo debut, “One.” Chrisman now lives in Tulsa with his wife and two children, and serves as a worship pastor at Church On The Move.

Spirit 102.3 signed on Thanksgiving week last year playing an upbeat mix of contemporary Christian music, including artists Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, MercyMe, and Casting Crowns. From it's debut, Spirit 102.3 quickly gained the attention of Christian music listeners throughout Green Country for the station's strong and clear signal, professional on-air sound, and long music sweeps of uplifting music.

Andy Chrisman says he's excited about this new chapter of his life. Chrisman states, "My goal is pretty simple, I just want to introduce people to worship music. I want people to tune in and be encouraged. We'll be sharing the Word throughout the show. It's going to be a lot of fun." Tune in October 1, 2006 from 6am to Noon for the premiere of Sunday Morning Worship with host, Andy Chrisman - on The New Spirit 102.3.
