"For nearly four decades, the Dove Awards stage has been graced by gospel music's greatest talent, and 'Best of the Doves' will relive many of their great performances and other classic moments," Brad Siegel, vice chairman, GMC, said. "For any fan of gospel music, 'Best of the Doves' will be a priceless time capsule of the great history of the genre, right up to the present day. It captures those once-in-a-lifetime performances and unique pairings of artists that you never get to see perform together."
John W. Styll, GMA President and CEO added, "I'm very glad that the Gospel Music Channel is bringing these priceless performances back to life. Some are poignant and some are hilarious, but all of them are historic. Now that they have been 'unearthed,' I think today's audience will enjoy this treasure trove of unique moments in gospel music."
