Brandon Heath Nominated

Taken from his debut album Don’t Get Comfortable, “Our God Reigns” hit the top 5 at AC radio this past fall. With worship music being one of the most popular genres of contemporary Christian music, this recognition proves that Brandon Heath has secured his place as one of the top new artists of the past year.

Appearing in the Worship Song category with Chris Tomlin, Aaron Shust and Leeland, Heath notes, “I’m so thankful for this nomination! To be mentioned in the company of these songs, artists, and friends is an incredible honor.” He adds, “I wrote ‘Our God Reigns’ to worship our God at a difficult time in a scary world. With today’s encouraging news, my response is still the same, to worship Him.”

Teaming up with famed producer Dan Muckala (Nick Lachey, The Afters, Backstreet Boys), Heath’s project hosts an arsenal of intelligent, pop-rock tunes that are as smart as they are catchy. CCM Magazine declared that “Heath is that rare, singular combination of truly gifted singer, songwriter and musician all three in one. Actually all the tracks are outstanding…and believe me, that’s not something I often hear myself saying.”

Brandon Heath just returned from a trip to Africa with Jars of Clay’s Blood:Water Mission, and was recently nominated in the Breakout Artist category in Worship Leader magazine’s 6th annual Praise Awards. He is currently touring through the United States and opening for Bebo Norman on selected dates. His new single “I’m Not Who I Was” is currently adding at Christian AC, CHR and INSPO radio.
