Music industry veterans Jim Brickman and Greg Lucid announce the partnership of their newly formed management company, Brickman-Lucid Management Company.

Bringing their collective years of success and experience in artist management together , Brickman and Lucid have signed master-musician David Klinkenberg under the Brickman-Lucid Management Company name and will co-manage the artist as their first client.

With the diversity and unique professional backgrounds of both Brickman and Lucid, the team is poised to fill a niche left void by traditional music management companies. The company, with a unique focus and unmatched creativity, will focus on business partnerships, career management and development of artists.

Still running his proprietary company, Lucid Artist Management based in Nashville, TN, Lucid most recently held a management position with TBA Entertainment/Mike Atkins Entertainment, a management company which has been instrumental in the management of the careers of artists such as Jaci Velasquez, Plus One, Point of Grace, Wayne Watson, CeCe Winans and Sandi Patty. Lucid currently manages recording artists Mark Schultz and Anthony Evans and will be instrumental in the overall artist management and development of the newly formed company and its artists.

“The thing I am enjoying most about launching this new management company with Jim is that we think alike in regard to doing things “outside the music box.” We are reaching beyond the model that many in the music business operate under and are passionate about launching the careers of creative artists like David Klinkenberg, and introducing him to the marketplace in unprecedented ways,” says Greg Lucid.

“David gives of his whole heart and soul when he plays the violin. Some people just play the notes...David plays the passion! He is one of those rare talents that captures all the emotion in the music and connects intimately with the audience,” explains Jim Brickman. “His live concerts are charming and spectacular.”

Brickman, who “found” Klinkenberg and immediately brought him onto his concert stage as his featured violinist and artist this year, will also continue to actively tour throughout the world, performing hundreds of dates per year, and continue to record with his new label home, SLG Records, host his own radio show and perform on high-profile platforms to millions of devoted fans. Jim released his latest album "Escape," his first release of original solo music in three years on October 3.

David Klinkenberg, who has been described as a virtuoso violinist with a rare gift, will release "The Carol of Emmanuel" in November 2006 through an exclusive partnership with Family Christian Stores. The artist who spans a diverse musical spectrum was recently on the “Broken & Beautiful” tour throughout the fall with Mark Schultz and Big Daddy Weave and begins touring with Jim Brickman for his annual Holiday Tour November 24 – December 31, throughout the U.S.
