The spring tour kicks-off in San Bernardino in March and runs through May 20th, targeting the west coast, southwest, and southeast regions. Circleslide will join their labelmates, downhere and Gray, for the first half of the tour and Sevenglory will be the guest artist on the last half during May.
“We are so excited to get on the road to begin this tour that was named after our third album on Centricity Records, Wide-Eyed And Mystified,” says downhere. “We view ourselves as ministers to the church and we want to share the journey of faith with our fans, so hopefully our music will be a different voice in their lives. We are so happy to be teamed with our label buddies, Jason Gray and Circleslide and looking forward to working with the great new band, Sevenglory. To be able to combine the ministry with such a wonderful organization as World Vision, that works tirelessly to help combat poverty and injustice for families and children around the world, is truly a blessing.”
Hailing from Canada, downhere hit the U.S. market in 2001 to high critical acclaim and the support continues with their first release on Centricity Records, Wide-Eyed And Mystified. The album offers a sharp, clean modern rock sound with fresh arrangements and worshipful lyrics, which has generated a Top Ten single with “Better Way” in early 2007 and their current single, “Little Is Much,” is poised to break into the Top Ten shortly.
Jason Gray released his debut project on Centricity Records, All The Lovely Losers, on March 6. Already the new CD is being heralded as one of the top releases in 2007 with upcoming features in Devo ‘Zine and Focus on the Family’s national radio show, Weekend Magazine.
Circleslide released their national debut, “Uncommon Days,” on Centricity Records in late 2006 with their unique Americana-Brit pop style. The four-member band has toured with such acts as Jars of Clay, Casting Crowns, and tobyMac. Sevenglory was busy in the studio late last year, putting the finishing touches on their second full-length CD scheduled for release in 2007.
