Go Fish, an emerging force in family entertainment, and The Salvation Army will collect toys for underprivileged kids on their “Go Fish Christmas” Tour.

Families attending each “Go Fish Christmas” performance will be encouraged to bring one unwrapped new toy to the concert, which will be distributed by The Salvation Army to deserving children in the area.

The “Go Fish Christmas” Tour launches December 3 in Jackson, Minnesota, ending December 17 in Sevierville, Tennessee. The group will perform a hometown concert at the Target Center in Minneapolis on December 16.

"We're thrilled to partner with the ‘Go Fish Christmas’ Tour as they share their new CD release (the popular "Snow," reviewed by Suite here) and celebrate the true meaning of this season," said Major Ralph Bukiewicz, Community Relations & Development Secretary for The Salvation Army's Central Territory. "They have scheduled excellent opportunities to enjoy an evening of Christmas music and to brighten Christmas for children in your own community."

"The Salvation Army has a tremendous reputation for helping others, especially at Christmas time,” said Jamie Statema of Go Fish. “We are honored they would partner with us in giving back to the communities where we'll be performing. It's a great way for our audience to have an impact on countless children this Christmas!"
