Word Records this week launches the four-song digital EP, "Center Of Attention," from newly signed, five-piece modern-rock band, Jackson Waters.
Available for download at all major digital music outlets, including iTunes, Napster, Yahoo and Rhapsody, "Center Of Attention" showcases the band's signature modern-rock sound, accompanied by profound lyrics. Songs featured on the digital EP are "Give Me Amazing Grace," "Come Undone," "Center Of Attention" and "Give Me Amazing Grace (acoustic version)." A free download of a fifth track, "Jamie's Song," is also available through the band's myspace page.
Set to release its full-length, national debut in March, 2007, Jackson Water's first radio single, "Give Me Amazing Grace," recently released to CHR radio and has already made its way into the Top-20 on the Air1 radio network.
Jackson Waters is comprised of vocalist/keyboardist David Leonard, guitarists Toby Friesen and Jesse LaFave, bassist Brian Meek, as well as drummer Ryan Hawk. The band initially made its mark playing small town shows and concerts on the Arkansas college circuit and is now expanding its territory to include the greater southeast.
