Jars of Clay just brought to a close its fall Good Monsters tour that consistently filled concert venues nationwide.

Launched in Toccoa Falls, Ga. Oct. 5 and concluding in Lexington, Ky. on Nov. 18 the band has garnered significant media exposure in every tour city. Appearances on the nationally syndicated morning radio show, “Mancow,” and local TV affiliates along with high impact print, talk radio and Internet coverage have generated more than 12.2 million impressions.

Reflecting on the band’s time on the road, Jars of Clay’s Dan Haseltine muses, “It was great getting to play our new songs on the road, but I think my favorite part about touring is being able to reconnect with and make new fans.” Additionally, Jars of Clay’s "Good Monsters" studio efforts are being put to “work” to help promote Fox Television Network’s Tuesday night line-up via television and radio spots. The band’s song, “Work,” will be featured in promotional segments over the next two weeks for the shows “Standoff” and “House.” "Good Monsters," completely self-produced by the band offers eleven original songs, and a remake of the Julie Miller-penned anthem “All My Tears,” "Good Monsters" even boasts a couple of stirring guest appearances: Nashville-based, singer/songwriter extraordinaire Kate York guests on “Even Angels Cry,” and formerly of Sixpence None the Richer, Leigh Nash, sings on “Mirrors and Smoke.” Additionally, the African Children’s Choir is featured on the moving, “Light Gives Heat,” a song inspired by its work in Africa through its non-profit, organization, the Blood:Water Mission.
