Worship leader and songwriter John Waller joins the Beach Street Records artist roster, as announced yesterday in Nashville.
As the third artist signed to Beach Street, an imprint of Reunion Records, Waller is now a label-mate with Casting Crowns, and Josh Bates. Mark Miller, founder of Beach Street, comments, “Beach Street Records is all about music ministry and John Waller is a text book fit for the label. He is an incredible music talent and has an amazing heart for the Lord.” Waller’s debut album is slated for release March 6, 2007, and the first single titled “The Blessing” officially services out to Christian radio formats today.
The song is written by Waller and features Mark Hall, lead singer of Casting Crowns. John Waller notes, “I am so excited to join the Beach Street and Provident family. The opportunity to share my music and what God is teaching me with a larger audience is an amazing gift. I am still pinching myself, what a God thing!” About the new song, Waller adds, “The Blessing’ is all about the idea of making the decision to encourage others and be a blessing to those around us, and to have Mark Hall singing with me is a blessing in and of itself.” Waller, 35, currently serves as the worship pastor at Southlink Church in Lone Tree, CO. He is married to wife, Josee, and they have three children, Baylee, 9, Hadlee, 5, and Sophee, 20 months.
