Jonathan Nelson Live Recording

Admission Fee is a wrapped toy for disadvantaged children.

Nelson is Minister of Music at the Empowerment Temple. Nelson’s tune “The Struggle is Over” (recorded by Troy Sneed and Nelson with Baltimore’s Youth for Christ Choir) has

been at #1 on Billboard magazine’s gospel singles chart for ten weeks. The tune is also nominated for a 2007 Stellar Award for Best Performance by a Children's Group.

Appearing on the special CD/DVD recording will be gospel luminaries such as William Murphy, Nikki Ross, Sheri Jones-Moffet (of Ted & Sheri), among others. In attendance will be gospel legends Richard Smallwood and Donald Lawrence. Also gospel stars such as Stephen Hurd, Lucinda Moore, Myron Butler, Troy Sneed, Vashawn Mitchell, DeWayne Woods and Natalie

Wilson.

The event is also a toy drive to benefit disadvantaged children. The cost of admission is free with a newly wrapped toy. In addition to the free admission, there are a limited amount of special VIP and reserved seating packages available.

Jonathan Nelson won the 2006 Stellar Award "Song of the Year" for writing Donald Lawrence’s hit tune, "I'm Healed." Most recently, Nelson wrote Youth for Christ’s inspirational ballad “The Struggle is Over” which spent four weeks at #1 on Billboard magazine’s gospel

singles chart.
