Mark Schultz and Big Daddy Weave

The tour kicks-off in Decatur, IL on September 29th and will run through November."World Vision is so grateful to have the support of Mark Schultz and Big Daddy Weave as they take the message of helping people around the world on one of this year's major tours," says Pamela Music of Word Vision. "Both of these acts are so heartfelt with their music ministries and bring such powerful worship to the stage that it results in a renewing and re-energizing of faith for everyone."

"We are hoping to make an impact with this tour that will challenge people with their faith," says Schultz. "All of us serve a loving God and we need to extend that caring and support to children who are not as fortunate. I'm excited about sharing the stage with Big Daddy Weave and looking forward to each night's performance where we, the performers, and the audience can raise our hands and voices in praise to the Lord."

Mike Weaver of Big Daddy Weave agrees with Schultz about the exciting possibilities. "Worship is the heart of the music ministry for Big Daddy Weave. When you can combine that worship with such a wonderful organization as World Vision and with the incredibly talented Mark Schultz, we hope to shake the rafters on this tour and to bring hope and salvation to a sometimes dark world."

Schultz is scheduled to release what insiders are calling his "career" album on September 26 that has the same title as the tour, "Broken and Beautiful." The title track will also be released to radio later this month and was co-written by Schultz and Matthew West. Big Daddy Weave will also be releasing a new CD on September 26, "Every Time I Breathe," that was produced by band member, Jeremy Redmon. The first single from the new project, "Let It Rise," is already getting airplay at Christian radio stations.
