Matt Redman New Release

His first new studio album in over two years, critics are extolling the new release:

“At the core of Redman’s talent is his ability to pen hart-penetrating lyrics…Great artists surface from the depths of great songs… Great songs have been and continue to be the foundation of his career.” – CCM Magazine (December 2006)

"It's not often that a worship album provides a consistent theme through most all of the songs, but Beautiful News delivers a stirring message of hope for a troubled world, revitalizing Matt Redman's sound and songwriting in the process--his best original album in years." – Christian Music Today

“…Redman brings a spiritual and musical maturity to this release that carries it to the highest ranks of worship releases.” – Worship Leader Magazine (January 2007)

“Beautiful News has a nice edge to it, maybe the hardest rocking album of Redman’s deeply expressive worship projects.” – Christian Music Suite 101 (Read Full Review here)

“…an exhilarating compilation of fantastic worship songs….an excellent album that is filled with honest songs and intimate lyrics.” – MusicFaith.com

Executive produced by Louie Giglio (Passion) and produced by Doubledutch (Robert Marvin and Josiah Bell, whose credits include Toby Mac, Mat Kearney), the album also features guest vocalist and Delirious? frontman, Martin Smith. Redman and Smith sing together on the high-energy track “Take It to the Streets,” which Redman also co-wrote with Smith. The duo also co-wrote the song “All Over the World,” originally introduced at Passion 05. Another co-write on the album is “A Greater Song,” which Redman wrote with songwriter and worship leader Paul Baloche.

Redman will be playing new music from "Beautiful News" this year at Passion 07 in Atlanta, Jan. 1-4, as well as on the Chris Tomlin How Great Is Our God Tour launching Jan. 25 with label-mate Tomlin and Passion founder Louie Giglio.
