Message From Eowyn

Indie rocker Eowyn, and the rest of us as well, suffered a great loss recently.

Her dear friend and band guitarist Mathew Hallmark went Home unexpectedly, in a car accident on his way home from a show in Missouri. Many in the CM community have been keeping Eowyn and her band in prayer in these past weeks. She recently posted an update on Myspace, sharing a report of her present state and announcing as well their need for a new guitarist. As she says herself, "The hard part is that I am now searching for a guitarist. Not to replace Matt, because no one can ever replace him, but someone who can pick up where he left off in this ministry."

Eowyn has two tours coming up, one in September, the second in October. The following is Eowyn's own list of requirements to fill this position:

1. You must LOVE JESUS.

2. Love rock music.

3. Be a very quick learner.

4. Have a rock look.

5. Be willing to move a lot on stage (performance wise).

6. Have the right gear and cases.

7. AND be ready to meet new "family" because that's what everyone in this ministry is to each other. We want someone that wants to stick around.
