"The Story of Love" delivers what her iconic unique timbre, vulnerability and passion. She co-wrote several songs on the project, including "Friend for Life," "Dancing Me Through," "Psalm 34" and "Talk To Jesus." "Lifting My Hands" is special for Troccoli. "I was at a friend's home and she played this song, noting that her 14-year-old son Matt had written it," she offers. "I was overwhelmed by the humility and the worship, and I knew I needed to record it."
She continues, "The Story of Love" is like a dance I have been waiting to perform for a long time. Full of melodic beauty and heart-felt lyrics, the songs melt me and leave me in a big puddle," expresses Troccoli. "Music is so powerful and I continue to want to use this gift to offer hope and give hearts a lift. This is a project that touches upon different dimensions of love-which is God's greatest gift. I hope listeners will celebrate these heartfelt expressions of both the earthly and divine manifestations of this miracle that is still unfolding in all of our lives. That's the glory of, and the story of, love."
In 2003, Troccoli launched KT Records, one of the first record labels owned by a female Christian artist, and 2007 marks her 25th year anniversary as a recording artist. A natural extension of Troccoli's warm personality is as a speaker and author. Over the years she has logged countless performances and speaking engagements at Women of Faith, Extraordinary Women, Time Out For Women and Heritage Keepers conferences, reaching audiences in the millions. February 2007 will mark her ninth year as host of the popular "KT and Friends" cruises and will also be the year she begins co-hosting "Spaghetti for the Soul" conferences for women, with speaker and author Ellie Lofaro.
