Inpop Records’ acclaimed super group newsboys announces a 40+-city "GO" tour in Spring 2007, with special guest artists Kutless and Stellar Kart as support.

This full-production tour will be the band’s first national tour since its highly successful “Adoration” tour in 2003.

Kicking off Feb. 16, the “GO” tour will visit more than 40 cities nationwide, including Seattle, Minneapolis, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and Dallas. Venues will consist mostly of arenas and theaters. As precedent dictates, fans can expect an all-out musical experience.

Newsboys have always been known for their live performances,” comments newsboys manager Wes Campbell. “From landing on stage in space ships and light shows encased in massive 50-foot microphones, dueling drum solos on spinning drum risers that go upside down to giant inflatable 3500-seat air domes, newsboys tours have always been ‘can’t- miss events.’ The rumors are that this tour will far exceed any of those past ones.”

With five gold albums, sales exceeding six million units, more than 20 No.1 radio hits, and a mantle of Dove Awards as well as Grammy nominations, newsboys has achieved phenomenal success in its near two decades together. Known for its amazing live performances and groundbreaking tours, the band continues to sellout festivals and concerts worldwide, satisfying diehard fans and winning new ones in the process. Most recently, newsboys released its fourteenth record, "GO," to critical and commercial success. Produced by Tedd T and Peter Furler, the project sold more than 23,000 units its debut week, landing newsboys at No. 4 on Christian SoundScan’s Overall Contemporary Christian Albums Chart and No. 51 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. The band’s current radio single, “Wherever We Go,” holds the No. 4 position on Radio & Records’ Christian Hit Radio chart. For more information on newsboys or GO, visit: www.newsboys.com.

The Portland, Ore.-based Kutless has emerged as one of Christian and rock music’s hottest acts. Kutless has played before nearly two million fans in the past four years and has had eight radio hits from the band’s first three CDs; Kutless, Sea of Faces and Strong Tower. Launched by original members Jon Micah Sumrall (lead vocals) and guitarists James Mead and Ryan Shrout, the band formed first as a modern rock/worship band at Warner Pacific College in Portland in 2000. Kutless stormed on to the touring circuit playing 200 shows a year to capacity crowds as well as being the featured artist on Billy Graham Crusades, Harvest Crusades, Louis Palau Crusades and many other festivals and special events.

Word Records’ punk pop rock band Stellar Kart launched onto the music scene with its 2005 release, "All Gas. No Brake." The national debut landed Stellar Kart a Gospel Music Award nomination for “Best New Artist” and the band was additionally honored as “New Artist of the Year” by readers of Ignite Your Faith (formerly Campus Life). This year Stellar Kart debuted at No. 1 on SoundScan’s Christian retail chart with its sophomore release, "We Can’t Stand Sitting Down." Furthermore, the band’s current hit single, “Me and Jesus,” recently held the No. 1 spot at CHR for seven consecutive weeks.
