Founder of deliberatePeople Phil Joel encourages kids, and parents, to add a little rock & roll to their Bible time with the deliberateKids album, in stores May 1.

On the heels of last year’s compelling the deliberatePeople. album, Phil’s first children’s project begins a new chapter in the deliberatePeople movement. He comments, “For the past six years, my wife Heather and I have been involved in children’s ministry at our church. Kids are such little sponges, which is a great thing, provided we can surround them with the right content to soak up. As a parent, I’m looking for Bible-based tools to help raise my kids in a world where there is an aggressive media assault directed at our children. My hope is that this CD will be one of those tools.”

Featuring upbeat rockers and fun sing-a-long lyrics deliberateKids teaches core spiritual principles and strong Biblical truth. The project was birthed from songs Phil and Heather were writing for their church Sunday school program.

“Most of the CD’s songs were written and used to reinforce our Sunday school teaching,” explains Joel. “We decided to record the songs so that the kids could listen to them in the car or at home. But once we got the songs into the studio, they transformed into little energetic rock songs. The whole idea is to plant seeds of truth into the hearts of our kids while they are young through music that will be enjoyed by kids and parents alike.”

deliberateKids will be released by Indelible Creative Group via Word Distribution May 1. For more information, visit www.indelibleonline.com or www.deliberatepeople.com.
