The Gospel Choice Awards has nominated EMI Gospel group V3 in the Best New Artist category for their 12th Annual Award Show held on September 18, 2006.
The awards ceremony will include performances by the country's top gospel acts in recognition of the role that gospel, rap, and pop music plays in shaping the minds of today's youth.
The Gospel Choice Awards assist the gospel music industry's efforts in raising the commercial awareness and viability of gospel music's powerful and positive messages to levels equivalent to urban contemporary music. This year's program theme, A Vision for Gospel's Future, will also pay homage to those that have paved the way for many of today's popular gospel acts by presenting the Life Time Achievement award to the Honorable Gladys Knight.
